Is there an official place where I could submit a ticket directly to Mikrotik for this? At least so they're aware of the issue, since this is a new, pretty powerful device. I do have a Mikrotik test env but it's got a RB2011 MIPSBE router in it which doesn't support The Dude. Got the networks, firewall, NAT, IPSec tunnels, PPP, all already configured. Still don't really feel like resetting it all the way to blank slate. ![]() The network is currently under development so this was just a part of the process. Ive been having some trouble setting up Mikroteks The Dude on a Windows 10 PC. It's not a live env as in users are actively connected to it and getting internet access through it. You can try it on some other device, dedicated for the dude server only: for example on hEX, or on CHR running on some virtualisation platform.Īnyway it's not a good idea to test something on a machine working in live environment. This issue occurs in Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2008 R2. ![]() If the Dude tab does not appear, that means something is definitely wrong. Resolves an issue in which you cannot bind an excluded port again even though the SOREUSEADDR option is set. You can install dude server on many mikrotik though. Windows is only supported as a dude client anymore. Such a shame, I would really love to test out the features The Dude has to offer. If you would like to run the dude as a server on windows you are out of luck.
